Clay Man Soo enjoys acting, being a teaching artist, writing poetry, dancing, making music, and nature walks. In 2018 he graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. His performance studies focused on the intersection between spoken-word poetry, music, movement, social justice, and ensemble-based performance.
Since graduating he has played at Penumbra Theatre, Bryant Lake Theatre, Superlative Films, and the SD Shakespeare Festival. He is currently represented by Wehmann Models & Talent Agency and Moore Creative Talent Agency. This summer you will find him playing at Park Square Theatre with Theater Mu. Afterwards, he will be heading over to the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis to become a teaching artist. He will also be playing at Theatre Coup D'Etat in The Tempest in the fall.
His mission in life is twofold: allow humanity to see itself through the transformation of one’s character, and to uplift humanity through new and empowering stories.
